Manaslu Tsum Valley trekking in the East of Manaslu trail, takes you to world remotest Himalayan valley known for its untouched hidden heritage of Nepal. The Valley of Himalayan pilgrimage, Tsum Valley is situated in northern Gorpha district of Nepal. The word “Tsum” comes from the Tibetan language “Tsombo” which means vivid. Tsum Valley is closed to Tibetan border and mainly influenced by Tibetan culture. The Tsum Valley is extremely rich in cultural assets. The valley is dotted with gompas (Buddhist monasteries), chortens and mani walls. The longest mani walls (over 250m) are at Dzong and Phurpe.

Manaslu Tsum Valley trek let us explore wild and unexplored region located in the valley of the Budi Gandaki River with Gurung ethnic groups. People of this region never slaughter animals, not even as sacrifice to the gods making it one of the special place to visit. You can expect to have a taste of good cup of natural coffee cultivated  in this region. Tatopani hot springs will help you to relax on this intensive trial. Upper Tsum valley (part of the Inner Himalaya) opens from Chhokangparo, where local people (Tibetan group “Tsombo”) welcome you with traditional Tibetan Chiya (butter tea) and local meal. The valley preserves steps of the great Buddhist Yogi Chyuchin Milarepa and story about Guru Padmasambhava circumbulation.
