Guerrilla Trek is a newly opened trekking trail which explores the western region of Nepal, namely Rolpa and Rukum. Trekking along the Guerrilla Trek offers hikers to follow the footprints once used by the Maoist guerillas in Nepal.

Guerrilla Trek passes through lush valleys in the shadow of the mighty Himalaya, including the impressive Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and Gurja Himal (7193 m). It boasts of the the country’s only hunting reserve, Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve. The views from Jaljala, pass at (3386 m), are stunningly beautiful

Guerrilla spot is latest designed route for trekkers. It is on high land of Himalaya. This place is only trekking rout affected by politics. It consists of Myagdi, Rukum and Rolpa district. Before arrival of Nepal, this place was fully affected by moist insurgency. More than 16000 people died in moist insurgency to relief Nepal. Our main theme is many hidden aspects of moist insurgency. We visit all the places affected by moist. Till now there are some victimized people alive. They have lost their some body parts. We take all knowledge how and why they destroy this place. This specialty is making this route central attraction of trekkers. Our spot are most beautiful places in Annapurna region. It is situated in western and mid-western region of Nepal. Our trek lasts for 3 weeks. Trekking in Guerrilla route will be extraordinary trek for us.

We start our Guerrilla trek from Beni. It is headquarter of Myagdi. Our walk goes on beautiful area of Annapurna region. The whole area is diversed by natural aspects. We follow main walking trial and settle our night in Takam, Lamsung, Nisi Dhor, Tallo Sera, Gurjaghat, Dhorpatan, Jalja La villages. Beside this we spend our some night in tented camp. In this way we complete our trek, keep a good memory and return back to our place. Guerrilla trek is not easy route to do. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Landing your flight at TIA, our representative will be there for your warm welcome. He/she are for your arrival.  You will be shifted to your place of accommodation. You can have full rest after a long flight. From the next day our routine will be according to our itinerary. Make full preparation for it.

Day 02: Kathmandu exploration and preparation for tour
We will spend our day roaming all around Kathmandu valley. For you there will be guide who will pick you up in your hotel. We will start our day tour after breakfast. It is very easy. At first we will visit Pashupatinath. It is holiest temple of Lord Shiva. Our next destination is Boudhanath. It is known as little Tibet. Finishing this we will move on to Swyambhunath. It is also known as monkey temple. Lastly we will drive to Basantapur Durbar Square. Finishing all this we will return back to hotel and make further preparation.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Beni (830m) – 8 Hours
We will drive to Beni. During our drive it will be interesting to see roadside houses in corner of dense forest. After a drive of 8 to 9 hours we will be at Beni. Our way offers us view of Trishuli & Marshyangdi River up to Pokhara. From pokhara magnificent views of Annapurna ranges in our will be impressive.

Day 04: Beni to Takam (1665m) – 6 Hours
From Beni, we take drive up to Darbang. Its distance is 24 km. With an easy walk we reach Takam to spend our night. Walking around 4 hours we reach in hill tower of Gurjal Himal. Spending our some precious time we continue our walk to Takam. Here we spend our night at tented camp.

Day 05: Takam to Lamsung (2250m) – 6 Hours
Having breakfast we continue our trek to Lamsung. From the starting of our trek we enjoy the dramatic scenery of the natural beauty surrounded all around us. Since this area is wilderness trekking route, we can only see very few foreigners. Besides this here are a lot of stories about insurgency in Nepal.

Day 06: Lamsung to Gurjaghat (3020m) – 7 hours
Waking up early morning we resume our journey to Gurjaghat. We walk through dense pine forest. Here we can see dating of musk deer. It is in undergrowth of forest. We can also enjoy great view of Dhaulagiri range up to Churen Himal. It is situated in the western side. Like this we reach Gurjaghat for our night.

Day 07: Gurjaghat to Dhorpatan (2860m) – 5 Hours
In our today’s walk, we cross Myagdi and reach Baglung district. It is a former Tibetan Refugee camp of this area. We walk through forested area. Our entrance destination is Dhorpatan. It is counted in Hunting Reserve of Nepal. Here we can observe many rare plants and animals conserved.

Day 08: Dhorpatan to Nisi Dhor – 5 Hours
Dhorpatan is known as a paradise for birds. Viewing its beauty we move ahead to Nisi Dhor. This area will offer us view of Danphes (national bird of Nepal) with many other rare migratory species. Here our ancestors have fought a war. Looking at this place it is quite unbelievable. In this way we reach Nisi Dhor.

Day 09: Nisi Dhor to Tallo Sera – 7 Hours
Leaving Baglung district we continue our trek to Rukum District. We our self will be witness of beautiful dense forests. It is all in our way. Most of villages situated in this district are quite picturesque. With good memory we continue our walk and reach Tallo Sere. We will have good night rest.

Day 10: Tallo Sera to Rujhi khola – 6 Hours
From Tallo Sera we continue our walk to Rujhi khola. Our walk will be on beautiful Lukum village. Lukum is populated only by Magars and Dalits community people. They all have their own culture & tradition. We can explore about them and we continue our trek to Rujhi Khola to spend our night.

Day 11: Rujhikhola to Thabang (1975m) – 5 Hours
Early morning having our breakfast we resume our trek to Thabang. Thabang is known as cradle of Maoist revolution. It is fully destroyed in army attacks. Beside this here has been development of some infrastructure. In our leisure time we can have knowledge of war ended of Thabang village.

Day 12: Thabang to Jalja La (3414m) – 5 Hours
Today we need to walk on highest point of Guerrila trek. In continuing our trek our next destination is Jalja La Pass in Jalja La of Dharampani 3900 m. From here, we can observe great views of Api Saipal and Dhaulagiri. They are situated in western side & eastern side. We spend our cool night at tented.

Day 13: Jalja La to Jelbang – 6 Hours
We have almost completed our all destination. It is our time to return. It will be so much easy in walking. We just need to trek downward. We follow main trial to reach Jelbang. This village is ethnically mixed. Here we can see people of different culture. Lastly we reach Jelbang village where we spend our night in tented camp.

Day 14: Jelbang to Suliochaur – 6 Hours
From Jelbang, we continue our walk to Sulio Chaur. Today’s walk finishes our trek. We can easily reach Sulio Chaur. This place was a rebel base area. For more than 10 yrs of insurgency this area was fully in contro of Maoists. Reaching on Sulio Chaur we spend delightful night in a tented camp.

Day 15: Suliochaur to Kathmandu – 13 Hours
Today we will return back to Kathmandu. Our drive lasts for around 11 hours. Greenery of highway will be so much impressive. Our lunch program is all managed in our way. We can have direct flight from Suliochaur to Kathmandu. From our flight we cannot enjoy the nature like drive.

Day 16: Farewell
Keeping good memory of Nepal, it’s time to return back to our home land. We will organize a small farewell program for you. You will be given all instruction and management of your departure is all managed by our team. Hope you will again return back to Nepal for visiting next beautiful side.
