Trip Overview

Dhaulagiri Circuit Trekking

Dhaulagiri Circuit trekking is a unique trekking destination that is challenging and offers one of the best high adventures in the Himalayas even for experienced trekkers who are looking for an expedition experience. Dhaulagiri is one of the most popular 8000m Peaks for climbing in the Himalayas and is also known as the seventh highest mountain in the world via Trek to Dhaulagiri base camp.

This mountain range lies north-west of Pokhara and rises above local terrain of 7000 m over the Kali Gandaki George to the south east in about 30 km aerial distance. First discovered in 1808 and taken as highest mountain in the world for 30 years sure is something to look out for. Dhaulagiri literally means ‘white mountain’ which justifies a magnificent peak rising as a giant shoulder of shining ice and snow.

Dhaulagiri Circuit trekking is an extremely challenging trek in Nepal, which wind across two passes of more than 5000 m. The beautiful hidden valley and the majestic mountain Dhaulagiri with a Trek to Dhaulagiri base camp might possibly be a dream of any travel lovers. Our trek begins with a scenic flight to pokhara and a drive to Beni and a hike o Singa Bazar, and then we will reach Muri Boghara, and will reach Italian Base Camp. Another best location is Midway camp and classic Base Camp and finally crossing French col pass to camp at Dhampus Pass.

Diverse culture, treading through different types of forests to treeless zone and getting as close as possible to peaks like Dhaulagiri and Dhampus Peak are great highlights of Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek. The lush landscape, hidden valleys, High Mountain passes along with many snow-capped peaks like Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Annapurna and other 23 neighboring peaks is a natural boon that makes Dhaulagiri trek a natural paradise.
Dhaulagiri Circuit Trekking to remote massive mountain range is the best high adventure camping trek in Nepal done in the hidden valley and French pass. This off the beaten trail of Dhaulagiri is the trophy of high mountain passes and is not just known for snow clad peaks but also for the richness in floras and faunas that holds treasure in the jungle, hills and unspoiled agricultural lands while going to Trek to Dhaulagiri base camp
