Annapurna Kopra ridge lodge & Kaire Lake trek is one of Nepal’s little trekking secrets takes you to the summit of Annapurna South wild glacier area. It is an exotic short trekking route located in the Annapurna region. This trek is an off the beaten track with remarkable views of the Himalayas. It offers trekkers with excellent panoramic views of Annapurna I, II, III, and south. Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Himchuli are some other peak which we can see on this trail. Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu

Upon arrival meet and assist by Parikrama Treks representative. Transfer to the hotel. We will provide a short briefing about the Pikey Peak Dudhkunda trek.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing (1300 m)

Today we will visit the cultural sites of Kathmandu valley.   We will provide a short briefing about the Pikey Peak Dudhkunda trek.

 Day 03: Flight to Pokhara, Drive to Ghandrunk (1,950 m / 3 hrs)

Today, we’ll climb up the famous stone steps of Nepal, giving us some superb views of the Himalayan range. This village faces Annapurna South (7,237m), Macchapuchare (6,993m), and Ghandrung (7,455m).

Day 04: Trek Ghandruk to Tadapani (2,300 m / 4 hrs) or Chule (2200 m/+30 mn)

Today you will have two options for the trek. You can hike all the way to Chule or till Tadapani.

Day 05: Trek Tadapani to Baili Kharka (2,900 m / 5 hrs)

We’ll leave the main trail to follow a path leading to the local buffalo pastures. From your lodge, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Dhaulagiri range.

Day 06: Trek Baili Kharka to Chistibung (3,000 m / 5 hrs)

We’ll descend through open spaces towards the pastures of Lower Chistibung. The vegetation here is sub-alpine with short trees and shrubs.

Day 07: Trek Chistibung to Kopra (3,870 m / 3 hrs)

Today, we’ll make a steady climb to reach Kopra ridge. This is the day we been waiting for our Annapurna Kopra ridge trek. We can enjoy the magnificent views of the mountains and the world’s deepest Kali Gandaki George.

Day 08: Trek Kopra to Khaire Khola (4200 m / 4 hrs)

Today we ascend to the stone huts built to shelter pilgrims.  This is a beautiful day with the views of the huge peaks of Annapurna.

Day 09: Rest day ar Khaire Khola

You can remain at the campsite or take a hike uphill to the lake known as Pautarko Kaire. We get great views of the Annapurna I, Macchapuchare and Annapurna South.

Day 10: Trek Khaire Khola to Celli Kharka (3850 m / 5 hrs)

From the campsite, we trek into a region only visited by local shepherds. We get great views of the fishtail peak of Macchapuchare and Annapurna South.

Day 11: Trek Celli Kharka to Hidden Lake (4250 m / 5 hrs)

Today will be a highlight of our trek, as we reach a rarely visited lake set among jagged, rocky spires.

Day 12: Trek to Annapurna South Base Camp (3400 m / 4 hrs)

Today we climb up to a small pass that leads to a steep descent to Annapurna South Base Camp. Today it is our last camping night.

Day 13: Explore Annapurna South Base Camp

We will have a full day to explore Annapurna South glacier.

Day 14: Trek Base Camp to Chhomrong (3120 m/6 hrs)

We follow the Kymrong Khola down a narrow gorge and out of this small sanctuary. We now join the main trail to Annapurna Sanctuary and spend the night in one of the fine lodges in the village.

Day 15: Trek Chhomrong to Tolka (1900 m/6hrs)

From Chhomrong, we have a steep descent through the forest areas.

Day 16: Trek to Dhampus, Drive to Pokhara

Today it is our last hiking day for an hour. We take an hour’s drive back to Pokhara.

Day 17: Drive / Flight back to Kathmandu

Today we will have a scenic flight or drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 18: Departure
